We are UYA Talent Agency – an acting agency who represent young performers and adults.
What personal data we collect
To provide or offer our services, it is sometimes necessary for us to collect and process certain personal information including name, address, date of birth, gender, email address, phone number/s, IP addresses, credit/debit card information, and/or other relevant information. All data is processed by us in accordance with GDPR and we will keep your personal information only for as long as is necessary. Where appropriate we will delete your personal information.
Who we share your data with
Your information will only be shared with agreed third parties which mainly include Production Companies, Producers, Casting Directors and other industry professionals when we apply for work on your behalf and act as an intermediary during the duration of the contract. We may share images on social media when permission is granted in accordance with the UYA Contract which is signed by the client when joining. It is the client’s responsibility to make themselves familiar with the full details enclosed within the contract. We will only ever use first names of members under the age of 18 when sharing to social media platforms in order to protect their identity.
What do we do with your information?
We collect this information in order to communicate with you and represent you accurately to industry professionals. This information is stored in our protected database and deleted when it is no longer required.
How do we protect your data?
We take the security of your data seriously and have internal policies and controls in place to try to ensure that your data is not lost, accidentally destroyed, misused or disclosed inappropriately.
How long do we keep your information?
We retain your information for as long as you are represented by UYA Talent Agency, after that time it is securely removed. We may keep basic contact details beyond that time to update you on projects you’ve been involved in, to pass on professional opportunities, or for other similar reasons.
How can you access the information we hold about you?
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) grants you the right to access particular personal data that we hold about you. You can make a request by emailing info@uyatalent.co.uk
